Hi Vance,I was hoping to see if there was any further word on Ashera, the fellows name escapes me at the moment, but it's on the psub website in the photos archive. I wonder if there was too much degradation of the hull from too many years of neglect.
Ashera was an interesting sub, aside from having a spherical pressure hull, and having been built by General Dynamics, she had a PSUB air about her...then again, so does Delta for that matter. Of course Delta has an operational depth of 1200' as I recall...a bit much for free ascents eh?
