Seans idea of turning a trailer into a dry dock....looks pretty good!

Take these cylinders, cut flood ports, reverse them mounted astride a marinized utility trailer which then acts as ballast, add flotation above these (square plywood foam filled modules), dual batteries and blowers.....voila!

Arrive at boat ramp, ....launch the whole rig,..... float out to deeper water.....vent down to launch.....start blowers to re-float. One crew returns the "dry-dock" to shore, ( a small trolling motor), and the skipper either motors the sub dockside, or waits in the lagoon area for surface support.

I do so very much like "brainstorming"!

Now check me here... a rectangular box (float / MBT) 16' x 2' x 2' = 64 cubit feet volume ....correct?    This is 4096 lbs lift, x 2 = 8192 lbs total lift.....correct??

.....Well then, your floating utility trailer / dry dock, is a very real possibility.......
