Carsten, Thanks! That's a pretty neat piece of history. Doesn't look to be to
functional and the first initial read leads me to believe it was a maintenance
nightmare. Looks like it is more a bottom crawler then able to operate
mid-water. My great-great uncle Respectfully, Jay K. Jeffries Andros Is., It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought
without accepting it. - Aristotle -----Original Message----- http://www.psubs.org/pic/tank.html "Jim Pesanka" <jpesanka@yahoo.com> schrieb: > Hi Brian! > > I have seen old pictures of a psub with tracks somewhere

The Track Vehicle that I had in mind would not be a part of the submersible,
the sub would rest on top and lift free when the track vehicle got deep
enough. After that it could just stay put on the floor until the sub returns,
sub settles down on track vehicle and then drives out. > > BC > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jay K. Jeffries > To: > Sent: Sunday, November 05, 2006 14:55 > Subject: RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Launch Retrieval Transport > > > Note: Sent this last night but it appears to have not gone
