Follow the hull line aft to just behind the buoy and you will see a rotary penetration sticking up that is used to release the lines over the buoy. I don't know what the covered deal is, unless maybe it's the UQC transducer or something. Vance
How is this released?
Looking at the picture, you see it well secured for road transport. Just below the buoy itself, you see a short line going to what looks like a strap around the hull. Is there a release mechanism down under the hull?...and how is it actuated?
