Well, I am a 26 year old aussie. Haven't built a PSub but I have been 
researching it for about 6 months. It is something I would really love 
to do. As a child my hero was Robert Ballard due to his Titanic exploits 
in Alvin. I actually have a signed letter from him after I wrote to him 
when I was 12-ish!

I am investigating the possibilities of designing my own sub (and 
getting it checked by an expert, of course!). Although the K250 and K350 
look great, I think I would get more enjoyment out of constructing my 
own design, even if it does take a while longer and cost more. I am one 
of those people who prefers the journey rather than the destination!

I figure I will probably have a sub completed in about 5-10 years time 
(slow and steady wins the race!). I am still in the research stage at 
the moment.
