Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Drydive sub gets a good wetting
A really great looking sub Brent!
I like the lines of it. If it were me trying it, I think I'd be looking for
rocks, scrap iron, car parts,or even stray kids to total up 300Kg. ;-)
On second thought, since you didn't submerge yet, you still have another
exciting time to come.
Enjoy!
Great Job, Dan H

Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Drydive sub gets a good wetting
Last Sunday I put my sub "Drydive" in the water for
the first time..
When the truck crane turned up at home and picked it
up he told me that it was about 1800kg so I knew
straight away we weren't going to totally submerge
today.
Pierre P of PSUB group drew my sub up in CAD and told
me it needed to weigh 2100kg. Thanks Pierre.
Pictures in the drydive album show that it was about
300kg light.
It was a good today all up with the local newspaper
reports and our capitals daily newspaper turning up
for the event. The event ended up on the front pages
of both publications.
So basically the day went as planned with it only
being the bouyancy test.
There are few pictures and the two newpapers front
pages on:

happy sinking
Brent
