I've always been a public servant but, with an eye on business. It does make me a rather good investor (however, the sub is a bad investment :) :)
There is an adage in business that if.... "You can fill a big need, you make big money" Case in point, the 1.6B YouTube buyout. Big untapped need = big money.
This means asking yourself really tough questions regarding the target market your ability to fill it, particularly if it is Sub and or ROV related. If the offer is solid, consider it well. There is another old adage as well..... "If you can't beat em, join em".
However, if an idea is truly revolutionary (Bell, Edison, Holland ), there are plenty ready to exploit as well. When it all comes together,.... business genius + vision = Gates, Jobs, Lucas
