Not really your question but this company is working on usable fuelcells
for domestic and mobile use. The 5 kw stack should be ok for 1 to 3 ton
psubs.

Has anyone heard about this Mercedes built car that supposedly runs on
hydrogen? The story I heard was that they were utilizing
Sodium Borate ( Borax ) in some way to produce hydrogen. Possible
submarine power source?
