Did you say 737 going down off Chemainus on the 14th?!  We were in Chemainus
last summer while at Gordon Bay.

I worked on the Chaudiere stripping electrical crap out of it before they
sank it in Sechelt.

BTW, fellow PSUBBERS, we're in the habit of sinking large items of interest
up here to create artificial reefs.  The Chaudiere was a Canadian navy ship
(corvette? cruiser? destroyer? - I forget).  All at diveable depths.

Steve: would you know if that's the same 737 that's been sitting at the
South Airport tarmac for the past few years?  Every time I eat at the Flying
Beaver I see that lump out there looking mighty forlorn.   I understand that
there were political issues surrounding that.

Let me know more about it since I've never seen a large jet sink to the
bottom of an ocean before.  I may be able to make it out there.
Links would be helpful, too.
