What about a completly new design using a 4-5 foot diamater hull, two coning towers, and aproxamatly 12-15 feet long. And what about for the interior bracing, using rolled steel bar, cut with a triangular truss pattern? for strength. wouldnt it be stronger than just plain rolled steel? you could use a water cutter so as not to soften the steel. With something going that deep, i don't thiink i would want clear domes, rather have 2" think lexan portholes/ curved viewports.
