Ok, I think I have a pretty decent grasp on Ambient
vs 1ATM systems now and some good direction for pressure regulation
research and design.
I have started with the fun part already though;
conceptual design.
I have come up with a convex octagonal hull
design with top mounted, contour matching, ballast tanks.
the drop weights are made up of externally mounted
plates (similar to a civil war ironclad) affixed to the bottom 3
surfaces.
the sketch has no scale at the moment but it
appears that it will yield a long and roomy cabin with ample room for me to
maneuver and for necessary operational and life support equipment.
