Hi Nomdae.
Not sure about the running in a pressurized
environment, but if you were in a 1 atm boat, you would NOT be in a pressurized
environment. In a 1 atm sub you could run the diesel but it would suck up the
air
in the hull unless you fed it with an air tank or
used your snorkel. You could run it for a very short time (depending
on your hull's air volume) but it would suck your eardrums outward and create
underpressure in
the hull which would also possibly stress your hull
sides because of the exterior water pressure. It can be done. Ask Carsten. He
has mentioned it being done underwater before for short periods.
