[PSUBS-MAILIST] Pressure Compensator

Hi All.

Can someone help me with a question on pressure compensation?

I know many of you use a scuba regulator to compensate pressure in ambient parts of your subs such as motor casings.

I'd like to use the same method on mine to keep the motor pods at ambient pressure.

But, obviously, a standard scuba reg only delivers the air when you instigate a drop in pressure by breathing in. I assume i need to use the diaphram to balance external water pressure and the internal air pressure of the motor pod.

I assume the reg has to be modified/adjusted to achieve this?

Many thanks
James
