    plans

    Hi Glen,

I'm not a K boat owner, but I am sure the steel
spec. stands for ASTM A516 - Grade 70 steel That is the most comonly used
and spec'ed steel for subs because of it's higher quality and ability to
have good properties in colder situations.

After much discussion and consideration, it is
the material I chose to use on my sub. Unfortunately, it is only available
in plate form and has risen in price more than most other more common steel
    plates. .

    Best Regards,
