Even better, just use sonar, then you don't need to risk loosing an
ROV or Submarine.  Or, you can rent a DVD of some underwater documentary
and you don't even have to go near the water.  Much safer! ;)

What people choose to do is going to be driven by the experience the
individual wants (or doesn't want) to have.

>Lol you guys. he sure did a good job at stiring you up:P but thanks for all the great help. i found a cable that has 6 18AWG conductors and a Cat 5e that i am probably going to use. and as far as PLC goes im going to reserve that for another project. i am going to use Gates to control the thrusters which also means i can keep the whole package alot smaller.
