Hello again Vance. Here's a little sketch of the "Oil Bladder".
It's just a concept so far but the components will be something much like
this.
This bladder will get hooked up to everything that's outside the sub that
needs oil compensation. Motors, actuators, and whatever.
The CV Joint Boot is made from the same stuff the other boots are made of.
Some kind of flexible plastic. These boots are pretty thick and resist all sorts
of chemicals and anything else your car is likely to throw up, including "road
salt"
The ones for the actuators were $15 each, and the CV Boot is $12 each. The
nice thing here is I can buy a replacement from just about any auto parts
store and switch it out in just a few minutes if one gets buggered up. Frank
