Holy Seaview, Batman!

This is from the mailing list for Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (I'm
looking
for plans).

It seems that someone was watching the old Batman movie from the 60s,
and realized that the Penguin's submarine was made from the set that
gave us the Seaview.   The propulsion system of the Penguin's boat
is described below:

The Penguin's sub is a ww 2 sub but look closely and you'll see it has
huge 
penguin feet in the back that propel the sub...it's a great effect
brought to 
us by L. B. Abbott ..the man who brought the Seaview alive.
