Pertaining to the electrical outlet situation, our home is a duplex so we
have two separate electrical systems plus dock power. We should have plenty
of 120 AC power for charging everyone's sub batteries and all are welcome
to charge up, free of charge (pun). But really, its not like we are going
to ask for money to charge some batteries for a few hours. We also have
extension cords to run into subs for charging, but I would advise all who
are bringing boats to bring their own cords so we don't end up running out!
As to the private ramp, it is made of concrete. We have a key for the lock
and all are welcome to use it as our guests. As Jon mentioned, there is
also adequate launching facilities in the lagoon, including another ramp
and the gantry crane. I'm sure there would be a fee invovled with the
ganrty crane, not sure about the public ramp, I can look into it though.
As Jon stated, the visibility is usually quite good. Understandably, it
won't be as good in the lagoon because of increased traffic, but even still
7- 10 feet minimum should be expected on / near the bottom assuming
adequate sunlight. The bay is also pretty clear, although as it gets
windier, the waves will stir the sand. This should not be an issue because
if it is really windy, we'll probably elect to stay in the sheltered lagoon
