Hi All.

Could anyone give me a hand with this?

I'm at the stage where I need to choose motors.  I am thinking I would like
to go for something like 55Lb 24v.

I want to make motors in proper cans.  I have\had an idea to modify a minn
kota or similar.  However, I am thinking that it will be easier just to buy
motors and make the rest.

I dont really know where to start with choosing a motor.  I know I need one
that is:

direct drive (ie no reduction gearbox)
DC 24v (possibly)
Produce about 55lb thrust.

I know there are loads of variables on choosing the correct one.  Does
anyone have any pointers or links or any help to get me started?
