James,
Thanks for the picture as a picture is worth a thousand words. I was going
to do the same thing but was planning on using a mouth piece from a double
hose regulator as it has the built in check valve for the exhaust but I
like your idea a lot better as it looks more comfortable and you can
include the filter to catch any dust!
PS: you look fine since most of your face is covered!,  just kidding[?]
