Alan,The motors are air filled with upgraded cartridge seals.  No compensation required.  I was thinking  I could run them on 48 volts if they provide enough power to move the sub.   I will do a test at the lake tomorrow, I tried in a garbage pail, all I did was rotate the water lol.Hank
