Gentlemen,

 

After much torture learning this damn CAD stuff, I have come up with a preliminary 3d rendering which I have posted on the Frappr Psubbers page. http://www.frappr.com/?a=myfrappr&id=269116

 

I have gone back in time to 1908 and the USS Octopus C-I. This is an ambient facsimile with some modifications.

 

Specifications as drawn are.

 

L.O.A  24.7'

 

L.W.L 23.8'

 

Beam 4'

 

Draft 3.2'

 

Submerged displacement 5,520 lbs

 

surfaced speed 6.54 kts

 

Interior volume 55 cf.

 

In the weeks to follow, as time permits, I will post cutaway drawings of the interior, ballast arrangement and systems for review and comments.
