Hi George - Thanks for the feedback!

To clarify, the nose cone is to be attached to a more
traditional pressure hull.  Also, I was thinking that
since I will be using hull sheeting of either .25" or
3/5" thick sheeting I wanted to have the sheet bent to
form the cone shape, and then have it welded onto a
skeletal form for reinforcement.  Does this process
sound correct?

The skeletal form will actually be a slow taper from
about 3 feet wide to about 5 feet in total length
(think of two intersecting upside down V shapes with
hoops at various intervals).
