At last! A question I know something about! 8^))
I've talked to Pat Regan about this......He said there was an early version of Simplified Sub Design Math on the internet many years ago....more or less as an experiment in uploading things to the Web, I believe he said. There was some impromptu or unauthorized editing done, I believe. The result was not what Pat intended and it was taken down, but not before some "bootleg" versions were made. I do know for certain Pat has issued disclaimers about those versions. He's also told me he does have the "correct" version of Simplified Sub Design Math finished, and it was to be part of his Homebuilt Submarine Manual....but I recall him saying he'd run into publishing problems with that. So I am fairly certain that there are no "good" versions of the Math article available.
I have been
trying to get him to upload the "correct" article to his website. So far, without success. Best bet would be to ask Pat. He might be persuaded to do it if there's enough interest. There's an email link at his website.
