One thing (which you may have already addressed) is the extra gas you need
to carry to blow the larger soft tanks. If I remember correctly, ABS says you
need to be able to clear your software tanks 3 (I'm not 100% sure it's '3')
times at max operating depth.
I realize that not everybody wants to follow ABS standards, but they do make a
good set of guide lines. Also the K350 was designed with these type of safe
margins, and when up dating the design it seems a good idea to maintain them.
I like the pics, kind of reminds me of a k350 (re)design I was playing with a
while back.
