Are these pumps "water compensated" or water cooled in an ambient
environment. Most deep well pumps are of the latter design.
This isn't possible in a sea water application. Too many minerals in the
water.
Ultimately, I think a completely sealed, one atmosphere, electric motor
with a magnetically coupled drive is the obvious choice. No Leaks!
The parts are off-the-shelf.
I'll be starting off with air compensated minnkotas, because I saw it, it
works, and it's simple.
But I'll be working on the magnetic thing, too.
