MTS is a professional society that I have belonged to for a long time. You can get lots of research data from them, but there isn't anything that I know of about little stuff like ours. I always felt like George was getting the short end of the stick. I mean, hell's bells, the man built FORTY something submarines!!! And sold plans for a hundred more. You'd think somebody like that would get some credit from the big boys, wouldn't you?

It seems to be geared more for serious research submersibles, than personal ones.  I looked at their 2006 convention itineary and it looks like they get some impressive people to attend and speak.
