Seems to me, a guy should be able to adapt a minnkota into accepting an
"off the shelf" magnetic coupler.
The business end of the motor can be in the tail end of a
welded aluminum housing, with the minnkota bolted up inside and sealed so no
pressure compensation is needed.
The exterior prop and associated magnetic coupler/shaft and
bearings/mounting hardware/rudder mounts/and stuff.....Can be made out of "off
the shelf" tube and flat bar, welded into whatever configuration you
need.
Can't be that tough.
