PSUBS Launches SUBNOTE
The Personal Submersibles Organization is proud to announce the launch of SUBNOTE, a formal Notice to Submariners system intended for submersible operators. SUBNOTE provides advance notifications about local restrictions, obtaining approvals, and safety requirements, helping operators plan dives responsibly and safely.
"SUBNOTE provides operators with the information they need to plan safe, compliant dives," said Jon Wallace, President of the Personal Submersibles Organization. "Just as pilots rely on NOTAMs before every flight, submersible operators can now rely on SUBNOTE to understand permissions, hazards, and requirements in certain areas of the world before going underwater."
The SUBNOTE system is publicly available at psubs.org and serves as a centralized source of critical information for safe and responsible submersible operations.

PSUBS Consults NOAA on FKNMS Dive Operations.
PSUBS engaged the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to obtain the necessary approvals for PC2026 dive operations within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS). The organization submitted detailed communications to ensure compliance with all sanctuary regulations.
"These consultations help ensure our dives are conducted responsibly and in full compliance with NOAA rules," said Jon Wallace, President of the Personal Submersibles Organization. "Protecting the sanctuary's resources while conducting safe dive operations is our top priority."
PSUBS is committed to conducting responsible diving operations while fully adhering to NOAA's regulatory requirements.

PSUBS Alerts Coast Guard to Planned Dives
Upon request from the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), PSUBS submitted detailed notifications to enhance search and rescue (SAR) preparedness in areas of planned PC2026 diving operations. These communications provide advance information to local and federal SAR teams to support rapid response in case of emergencies.
"The safety of our team and others in the area is paramount," said Jon Wallace, President of the Personal Submersibles Organization. "By providing notifications upon the Coast Guard's request, we aim to improve coordination and preparedness for any potential incidents."
It is important to note that these notifications do not constitute a request for authorization or imply USCG approval of our planned dive activities. They are strictly intended to enhance SAR readiness and promote the safety of all participants.
