Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Saving the Kodak sub pics
Hi, guys - thanks for all the positive
feedback. :-)
I was disappointed to find out that pics can't be
downloaded directly. Drat.
You'll have to save the page/image you like as an
"htm" page. If you put all the ones you like into a folder on your
desktop, it would be fairly quick, albeit awkward, to save each picture off the
"html" page you've saved.
The "html"-saved pages have to store the images
into a temp file on your hard drive. This is the source the "Save
Image As . . ." goes to. This should bypass Kodak's
intransigence. ;-)
It's important as researchers to have these images
on your drives. For the time being, though, Kodak will have to be it
for sharing.
I've semi-assembled a web site of my own as
previously mentioned. When that time comes (um . . . yeah) you'll have
hundreds to choose from. As most of you are scuba divers, I feel it's
accurate to tell you not to hold your breath.
Warm regards,
Rick Lucertini
