[PSUBS-MAILIST] I found that book I was looking for...

A while back, early this year I think, I post a request (well,
maybe I was whining) for a book at fill a gap in my library.
This stemmed from working on my view port frame and finding
Stachiw, PVHO, ABS, etc. didn't provide all the information
I was looking for when calculating frame dimensions.

Well, I purchased a book call "Engineering Formulas" by Kurt
Gieck and Reiner Geick. This is a small book, but packed
full of useful engineering formulas. Today's big help was
looking up the formulas for calculating the area and volume
of a sector of sphere (related to some work on sectional
spherical viewports). It seems to be a pretty comprehensive
engineering book. The "strength" chapter has lots of formulas
relative to aspects of the view port frame design I felt
where not covered in the Stachiw book.

It's not cheap for it's size (fit's in my pocket) at $35usd.

I'm pretty happy with it so far, so I figured I'd mention it
here, in case others where looking for a similar text.

Cheers,
   Ian.
