Hi Dan. Ya, I'm a better welder than artist. The area at the hatch hinge
isn't accurate in the sketch. More of a concept sketch rather than a working
drawing. I have a way to encompass the hinge within the shield.
It's a little late to re-do the hatch hinge. Not having a "tower" like a
"K" boat will make it pretty easy for a wave to wash over the hull and into the
open hatch. "YIKES !!!"
