Thanks Frank, thats impressive.
I'll be going more the size of the robotic arm I sighted, with your actuators on it.
I'm building my sub small & the arm will be doubling as a periscope with a camera mounted on it.

Hi Alan. Here's a pic of Dan Brewer's articulating arm powered by inexpensive Bimba air cylinders filled with vegetable oil. He has a tiny electric pump and reservoir inside the sub. Not fancy, but effective. If memory serves me, the frame was all aluminum channel he scrounged some where, with stainless pins at the joints. He installed a "disk" type thru-hull with all the oil line penetrations in one spot. He's a good fabricator and his sub has quite a few innovative design elements. He took me for a night dive in it and it was a BLAST !
