Re: BAD JOHN SCHESTAG

There's no big secret here....when John first joined the group he was
very vocal. No problem there. Then he decided to inject some humor
in his posts. No problem there. Then his posts consisted mostly of
humor with little or no sub content. At this point Ray, very politely
I might add, asked John to please tone the humor done a little and try
to make his posts a little more topic related. A few other people also
complained. At this point, John took it VERY PERSONALLY and decided
if he couldn't have things his way, he was going to leave the group.
Also, at about this time there was discussion as to whether we should
have a publicly accessible membership list complete with addresses.
Ray felt this would not be a good idea due to member privacy concerns
and as such, advised we wait till we could find a more secure method
which could be accessed by members only.

John took this and ran with it saying he "wasn't aware" that the
newsgroup wasn't private and that anyone on internet could read his
posts. As a result, with his leaving, he DEMANDED that any posts
containing his comments be deleted or he would follow up with legal
action. As a result, Ray and/or Jon deleted some of John's posts to
comply with his request and these are probably the one's you can't
access. I don't remember any earth shaking revelations or detrimental
content to these posts. The bottom line was John was just trying to
to be a pain in the ass because he couldn't have things his way. He
was also practically begged to stay by several members with apologies
made for any offense that he may have taken but it did no good.

So there you have it....PSUB'sgate exposed. Bet it wasn't as juicy as
you had hoped, right? Now can we just drop it?
