[PSUBS-MAILIST] sodasorb

Alan,
I am somewhat new to using a scrubber, and I can not see through my canister.   I would not spend any extra for colour indicating.  My testing revealed to me that our instrumentation in our subs lets us know  that something is not working properly very quickly.   I like the idea of two scrubbers, run it dry like a gas tank then switch over to the full tank.  If you use colour indicating you will throw it out before it is spent.  A second scrubber would pay for itself in no time with absorbent savings.

Scott,
Just mention in case you are unaware. The absorbent comes in two types.
One with Colour indicator, one without. Get the colour indicating type.
I have read that you need to mark the level indicated by the colour on the
Canister as soon as you stop your scrubber, as there is some fading that occurs
Afterward. Have some but haven't used it, so open to contradiction.

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to buy sodasorb? I am wanting to get it ordered so I have it in time for the conference. Also as long as it is sealed, what is the shelf life roughly?
