[PSUBS-MAILIST] oil filled relays

Hank,
Alvin used to use oil compensated relays back in the 70's. They had a
transformer oil specially mixed for by Hoover vacuum cleaners. They
apparently had a hell of a time, because carbon nodules would build up on
the contacts and gum up the works.

They ditched all of that sometime in the 80's when they went to brushless
thrusters and now keep all of the high-power electronics in a titanium
enclosure.

What do you plan on using for thrusters? Minn Kotas? and what voltage do
you think you'll run?

Thanks,
