RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] 2006 PSUBS Award voting is open
Hi Stephen,
As you described in your mail was the way the award
nomination/voting originally worked. However over the
last couple of years there were so few nominations
that there wasn't any point in voting. So this year I
decided to go straight to voting.
If there is a special award you are thinking about,
let me know. If you can convince me I certainly can be
accommodating.
However we already have 5 award categories and last
year we awarded seven awards. Each award cost PSUBS
about $35 each. So make your argument really good
because there really isn't a budget and I have been
paying, except for last year, out of my pocket.
And I should mention, since I run the Awards program.
I am the final arbitor.
Regards,
Ray
