RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST]

Marc,

Can you give us a description of the pressure hull?  I understand this may be proprietary, so no problem if you don't want to give away company secrets.  My understanding of this design is that the person is essentially standing upright in a 24inch or so pressure tank.  In other words, turn the pressure tank 90 degrees and you've got a SGT PEPPER style sub layout.  Given the relatively small volume required for this setup, and the relatively shallow depth rating, what is the pressure tank thickness that you use?  Do you include ribbing?  Ever since I saw the first prototype photos (years ago), I've been entrigued with the vertical standing pilot design.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reaction and off course we are not the “first personal submersible” as Suzi is saying.

Sorry group J

Congratulations Marc, that looked great.  The unit looks very clean and comfortable.  I liked the way the two upper motors on the wings moved and pivoted.
