Patrick,Take another look, "Proteus" is a bit more than a rendering....she's alive and your best bet for ideas for what you are considering.
If I recall correctly, she has a dry cabin for the Queen to sit comfy while the Emir sits out front with his buddies in their dive gear! (Being sarcastic as this is the obvious market for the thing, she's was built in Dubai after all). I believe the cabin is ambient.
But, the design is just what you seek, tremendous reserve surfaced buoyancy, shallow draft, with a clever way of disguising a relatively small submersible volume in a big, fast running surface package. Somewhere, I saw a cutaway diagram of her.....very cleverly done!
