Rob,

You say a shallow WET sub for 200ft.  I'm guessing you really mean a DRY sub 
don't you?

You can make your hull out of steel with standard tank ends and create what 
ever shape you want to affix to it out of fiberglass.  My K-350 sub, 
"Persistence" is made like that.  The fore and aft fiberglass fairings are 
the main ballast tanks.
