Jens that really is a nice unit but now the question is how do we get a
waterproof Pot. How much would you charge to make a unit? Chs Hugh

Here is a little test I did using a 10kOhm potentiometer (to simulate your
rudder position pot) connected to a very simple circuit, built around two
cascaded LM3914 Dot/Bar Display Drivers; ref

[My first attempt (the non-linear part), using an LM339 Quad Voltage
Comparator, would better lend itself to other uses like showing the
available battery capacity, etc.]
